Welcome to this fascinating driving tour of the famous Napa and Sonoma wine country. California’s premiere wine making area. Presented by SelfTour, this is a continuous, full-circle GPS triggered audio guided tour that leads you through sixty-five beautiful miles of internationally acclaimed historic wineries, rustic country lanes, spectacular tasting facilities and romantic villages. Plus our great tips for the best wine tasting experiences. As you drive, music accompanies our descriptions of this enchanting area’s 150 yearlong history that make this beautiful area so captivating and enjoyable. You will experience what many consider one of California’s, and America’s, greatest drives.

This SelfTour brand GPS triggered audio guide is designed to take you in a clockwise circle through the valleys of Sonoma and Napa. Because the history of wine making in the area begins in Sonoma, our suggested starting point is South of Sonoma at the intersection of Highways 12 and 121. But you can join the tour at ANY location, stop anywhere along the way and continue on at your own pace and schedule.

The narration and driving directions are activated by GPS locations and spoken to you as you move through the tour route to assist you while driving. If you want to replay any description or direction just tap that position on the map. You must allow your device to “access you location” when using this GPS tour. If not connected, tap the notice in the lower right corner of you screen.

We do remind you to drive carefully and pull to a safe spot on the side of the road for extended viewing, picture taking or to use your smartphone or tablet. Do not drink and drive.  If you are wine tasting be sure to have a designated driver who is not tasting.

We hope your enjoy this SelfTour brand audio tour. Discover more great SelfTour guided audio walks and drives at your App store or our website: SelfTour.Guide. If there’s a trip worth taking, it’s worth taking a SelfTour.
